Customised OEM Beamsplitters adhering to any customer requirement.
Dichroic Beamsplitters
Dichroic Beamsplitters are generally used to separate two or more spectral regions. They are commonly used at an Angle-of-Incidence of 45 degrees. One or several spectral regions are transmitted through the splitter whereas other spectral regions are reflected at 90 degrees.
At Delta Optical Thin Film, we design and manufacture Dichroic Beamsplitters as multilayer interference coatings. Our advanced design and coating technology allow us to make beamsplitters with multiple transmitted wavelength passbands.
Customised OEM Beamsplitters from Delta Optical Thin Film are designed and manufactured to adhere to any customer requirement or specification for use in the customer’s particular application. This has become increasingly important as the market for advanced imaging or diagnostic technologies incorporating optical Beamsplitters is growing.
When designing the customised OEM Beamsplitter, optical parameters such as the angle of incidence, full cone angle and polarisation state are taken into account for a specific Beamsplitter. Once these parameters are known, mechanical aspects such as width, height and thickness are then specified, including the substrate material, surface quality and clear aperture. Most of our Beamsplitters can be foreseen with a stress compensation layer to obtain optimal flatness.
In the product table below, our Long Wave Pass single edge Dichroic Beamsplitters are listed.
