New high performance filters
At Delta Optical Thin Film, we continuously strive to deliver superior filter performance by pushing the boundaries of our technology. Below are three examples of new filters with impressive performance, we have developed and manufactured. The filters were all launched at Photonics West 2025 in San Francisco.
Fluorescence filters with very deep out-of-band blocking
Our new fluorescence filters feature best-in-class out-of-band blocking. These Bandpass filters deliver exceptional performance, minimizing background interference and cross-talk enabling our customers to build even better products.

Dichroic beamsplitter with very steep transition region
Thanks to its extremely steep transition between the reflection and transmission bands, this new dichroic filter allows you to either combine two light sources with a very small wavelength difference or work with fluorophores that have minimal wavelength separation between their excitation and emission bands.
Linear Variable Short-Pass Filter with improved performance
At Delta Optical Thin Film, we have been at the forefront of developing and manufacturing Linear Variable Filters for decades. Our commitment to innovation drives us to continuously enhance the capabilities of our filters.
Recently, we achieved a significant improvement in one of our Linear Variable Short Wave Pass filters, reducing passband ripple for better performance.
