Quad-band emission filter and beamsplitter

The commercial availability of Light Emitting Diodes at almost any wavelength combined with Multi-Bandpass Filters have enabled ultrafast switching between different wavelengths in fluorescence microscopy.

Our multi-band filter products – a quad-band emission filter and a quad-band dichroic beamsplitter – are excellent examples of the kind of filters that we can design and manufacture for our OEM-customers.

At Delta Optical Thin Film, we have been at the forefront of developing and manufacturing Linear Variable Filters for decades. Our commitment to innovation drives us to continuously enhance the capabilities of our filters.

Recently, we achieved significant improvements in our Linear Variable filters, reducing passband ripple and increasing UV-throughput for better performance.

Beamsplitter with very steep edge

Thanks to its extremely steep transition between the reflection and transmission bands, this new dichroic filter allows you to either combine two light sources with a very small wavelength difference or work with fluorophores that have minimal wavelength separation between their excitation and emission bands.
