Continuously Variable Beamsplitters
Continuously Variable Beamsplitters are typically Continuously Variable Long Wave Pass filters designed for angles of incidence (AOI) different from zero degrees, typically 45 degrees.
We offer two basic types of Beamsplitters:
- LV Dichroics where the filter edge is varying nearly linearly along the length dimension of the filter substrate
- EV Dichroics where the filter edge is varying exponentially along the length dimension of the filter substrate
Our Variable Splitters are often used together with Variable Bandpass Filters or Variable Edge Filters to form a complete EPI-Fluorescence Filter Set.
